Southampton Prayer Line - active now 

Dear Church Leaders,

Much grace and peace to you as you work hard to serve the church and the city at this time.

In conjunction with Love Southampton, Southampton House of Prayer is coordinating prayer support for anyone who would like us to pray.

How it works: As simplicity and speed are essential at this time, we have created a number for Southampton Prayer Line for those who want to send in their prayer requests.

For residents of Southampton: the number can be used to text us prayer requests and we guarantee that we will pray for them. With permission and after editing to maintain confidentiality, these requests will be included in a daily prayer update sent out to a dedicated prayer group.

The contact number is: 07960 430 674. This can be posted on public forums as a contact point. Please do so on any social media that you have. We attached two images as flyers - one aimed at the general public, and one asking the church to join the prayer group. The simple message to spread is on the flyer: "We have a team of people praying. Text us if we can pray for anyone particular at this time".

The intention is to have people from across the city and its environs in the prayer group, giving a comprehensive cover of the city’s needs at this time. To get the daily prayer updates, just text "join" to 07960 430 674

Now is the time to unite in prayer for our city. As we know, many people are already going through very difficult times in lock down. We need a miraculous visitation of the presence of God all over our city.
